So you want to make your own online game with Create or Conquer. That's awesome! I have laid out the steps to get started. But before we get too involved, let's talk about the steps ahead of you, and the accounts you'll need. I'll briefly explain each account you need, and costs involed.

Create or Conquer Accounts
You'll need two Create or Conquer accounts; one for your character and world content, and one for your World Builder settings.
Cost: Free forever @ www.createorconquer.com

HostGator Web Hosting

PayPal Account
You'll need a PayPal account so you can have a little online bank account. Your PayPal account will let you buy a domain name and pay for your monthly web hosting costs. I'll explain more about PayPal in the PayPal section.
Cost: Free to make the account

GoDaddy Account
You'll need a GoDaddy account so you can buy a domain name (example: www.yourdomain.info). I'm recommending a .info domain name because they are very cheap - and we're trying to save money. If you want to buy a .com, .net or .org domain name - that's fine too. But my information will refer to your domain name as a .info domain name. GoDaddy will bill your PayPal account $2 each year for your domain name. I'll explain more about GoDaddy in the GoDaddy section.
Cost: Free to make the account, $2 for the first year for a .info domain name

HostGator Account
You'll need a HostGator account so you can buy web hosting. Web hosting is important for a few reasons. It's also the most expensive part of having your own online game. You'll need your own web hosting so you can store your game's images, sound files and other files or documents for your game. You'll also need web hosting so you can have a little website for your game (if you want). HostGator web hosting bills your PayPal account $9.95 USD each month for your web hosting. I'll explain more about HostGator in the HostGator section.
Cost: Free to make the account, $9.95 per month for web hosting

So, I hope you understand the few accounts you need to set up. For your first month, you'll need $12 USD in your PayPal account. Each month after that, you'll need $10 USD.
